Healing HeARTS Painting Workshop

This service project was done with Dove’s Nest, a women’s addiction recovery center here in Charlotte. The purpose was to provide an opportunity for the women to connect, express themselves vulnerably and artistically, and participate in art therapy.
This creative showcase was done with United Community School, a small charter in the University area. Students were prompted to "Tell a story about honesty, using a drawing, short story, and/or poem." All grades K-8 (general and special education) participated in this showcase.
This Juneteenth celebration brought together and celebrated black voices, supporters, creators, and businesses.
